The Purchase

How a Purchase Moves

From selection to possession, every step runs through federal compliance. Documentation is part of the process, not paperwork added after.

  1. 01

    Browse and Select

Choose from Ferrum Arms-manufactured firearms and carefully curated products from trusted manufacturers. Professional consultation on firearm selection and specifications is available before you commit to a purchase.

  2. 02

    Federal Compliance

Every purchase runs through federal compliance. Form 4473 is completed and an FBI NICS background check is initiated. The process is transparent and documented, not hidden behind the sale.

  3. 03

    NICS Processing

The FBI NICS background check determines eligibility. Processing depends on NICS and any state-specific waiting periods, typically within the 3 to 10 business day window stated in our timeline.

  4. 04

    Delivery Routing

Your firearm is routed by state law: direct to you where permitted, or to your local FFL where a transfer is required. We coordinate the licensed, documented transfer either way.

  5. 05

    Possession and Records

You take possession through a licensed, documented transfer. Records and accountability are maintained as part of a compliant consumer sale, the same standard we hold across the business.

Delivery Options

How Your Firearm Reaches You

Delivery follows state law. Two paths, both fully documented through a licensed transfer.

Direct to You

Where state law permits

  • Firearm ships to you after the NICS check clears
  • Form 4473 completed with us as your licensed dealer
  • Licensed, documented transfer on record

Transfer to Your Local FFL

Where state law requires a transfer

  • We ship to a licensed dealer near you
  • You complete Form 4473 and the NICS check at that dealer
  • Possession after the dealer transfer is complete

Licensing and approach

Built, Not Branded

Iron over image. The work speaks louder than the branding. Every build is carried through with accountability as part of the deliverable.
